Cutting files are digital files (SVG, STUDIO and EPS) that can be used with compatible software and electronic cutting machines to cut layers out of colored paper. Printable files are digital files (JPG and PNG) that can be used as a whole in digital or printed form. You an add printables files to documents, digital scrapbook pages, slideshows, etc., or you can print them and cut them out.
The media manager component lets you upload and insert images into content throughout your site. Optionally, you can enable the flash uploader which will allow you to to upload multiple images.
Yes, our STUDIO3 files are 100% compatible with the Silhouette line of cutting machines. Silhouette Studio Designer Edition is required to import and cut any SVG file.
All products are digital downloads and come in a compressed Zip format. Inside each Zip file are individual SVG files, PNG files (certain designs), EPS files (certain designs) , and STUDIO files for every element pictured. In the case of font files, it includes a ttf file to install and a txt file with the instructions for use.
Since all of our products are digital, we do not ship anything. All products are available for download once you complete your order.
There are 3 different ways to access your files 1. You will receive an email with the subject line “Your Chameleon Cuttables LLC content” after purchase. Follow the download link provided in the email and click on the pink links. This will start the download. If you can’t find the email, check the spam folder and move the email to your inbox. OR 2. You will receive an email with the subject line “Order confirmed”. Follow the link “View your Order” provided in the email. It will take you to the order confirmation page. Please follow the link “Access Digital Content” and click on the pink links. This will start the download. If you can’t find the email, check the spam folder and move the email to your inbox. OR 3. Sign in to your account. Click the link “My Downloadable Files” located right above “Order History”. Click on the pink links. This will start the download. Please note: This option is not available for orders prior to March 2018.
Most computers have built in software that will decompress/open zipped folders. To unzip all the contents of the zipped folder, right-click the folder, select Extract All, and then follow the instructions. If you are a Mac user, double-click on the zip file and it will extract to a new folder.
This happens because you have configured on your computer that the svg files are opened by default with your default web browser. But it’s really an SVG file that you can open without any problem with your cutting machine’s software! Just try it, open it with your cutting machine’s software, that file that shows with your browser’s icon, and you’ll see how it works.
